On XX/XX/23, 2 salespersons from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX came into my home to do a XXXX XXXX demonstration with the intent to try and sell the system to me. After completing the demonstration, they offered me with 2 financing options through Belmont Finance LLC to purchase the XXXX XXXX. The salesperson then asked for my, or my fiance 's social security number to " put it under one of our names. '' They said it is a " light inquiry '' that will fall off in a couple of days, and let us know that this inquiry was unlike an inquiry when shopping for cars where the credit is sent off to multiple lenders for approval. Without acquiring permissible purpose to pull credit via a hard inquiry, they submitted my information to Belmont Finance , LLC for credit purposes without making it clear to me as a consumer the nature of the inquiry.
