My account was turned over to Professional Debt Mediation on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have contacted them once before today in XXXX XXXX. I have never paid anything on this account. When my credit adviser checked my credit report, he saw that they had reported activity on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. He advised me to call and ask them to remove the false report. They refused and argued that I had been lied to. Professional Debt is reporting the last date of activity on this account in error which is a violation of the CFPB. Please have this account deleted because of their error.

Female only identified as XXXX XXXX called my personal cell phone leaving a message. Said I needed to call her back and that it was very important. Upon calling, the company directory only identifies itself at XXXX. Accessed the correct extension and the female advises me I owe {$38.00} to an apartment complex. I told her I purchased a home multiple years ago and she said it was from 2013. I have never been contacted about this debt previously and had no idea what it was in reference to. I asked for her to send me a bill because I wanted proof they were a legitimate, reputable company and did n't feel comfortable giving my banking information over the phone. She advised me while I was waiting on the bill she was going to report my debt to my credit and housing report ; yelling saying I was ridiculous. I advised her I work for a police department and that I see fraud everyday and only wanted to protect myself. She advised me that she already knew I worked for the police department because she just called my place of employment since I did not answer my cell phone. She continued to yell at me over {$38.00} so I requested her supervisor. Her supervisor was not of much help but identified himself as XXXX XXXX. He gave me the phone number to the company I supposedly owed money to and gave me his extension so I could call him back rather than the original XXXX XXXX. I told him his employee was outright rude and had no right to yell at me and that as a woman with perfect credit who happens to be XXXX weeks pregnant, I did not deserve to be treated the way I had been treated. He advised me to calm down and that she was not rude. He admitted that he had not listened to the conversation between XXXX XXXX and I and had no idea what she said to me over the phone nor knew if I was rude in return. ( I was n't ) I also told him not to tell me to calm down if he had not dealt with what I just had to deal with and I had not even raised my voice. - Upon calling the phone number XXXX XXXX gave me, the apartment complex representatives were extremely helpful and willing to pull my debt from collections. I am an extremely responsible person and do not avoid my responsibilities. They had no right to call my place of employment, they had no right to yell and belittle me, they had no right to harass me over {$38.00}, and they had no right to deny me proof or explanation of debt.

I contacted Professional Debt Mediation on XX/XX/2022 by telephone and my call was not answered. I contacted XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX ( where the original debt came from ), spoke to XXXX XXXX the Apartment complex manager on XX/XX/2022, she replied by email that she has sent 2 emails to this company asking them to remove this debt of {$280.00}. The debt was paid with the original creditor per the terms of the agreement between XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX. I sent all the supporting documentation to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, The Attorney General of Florida, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and Professional Debt Mediation. They continue to flag my credit report, Seems they are not interested in cooperating with me to correct the mistake.
