This letter is to inform your company that I want to dispute the following item below on my credit profile. Did you see that your company was sued by the CFPB? for unlawfully failing to properly investigate consumer disputes. The CFPB alleges that XXXX does not take sufficient steps to intake, process, investigate, and notify consumers about consumer disputes, resulting in the inclusion of incorrect information on credit reports. Inaccurate or false information on consumer reports can threaten consumers access to credit, employment, and housing.
I also learned that your company is notorious for telling consumers that you will not investigate accounts if you have previously investigated and now we see that you all never really investigated anything for consumers. I am demanding that you reinvestigate/ investigate and the outcome be removed today!
