Complaint What Happened	We are currently attempting to purchase a new home while the other is closing. We had a lender for the realtor company ( Private Mortage AdvisorsXXXX XXXX XXXX pull a soft inquiry for a prequalification letter we needed to present to the sellers. This company instead pulled a hard credit inquiry and screwed up our credit, which I have been trying to keep a clean record of since we started the selling process of our last home, so we can purchase a new one. The lender questioned details he did not need to know for the prequalification also, as well as attempt to talk the realtor into getting a conventional loan with his company instead of a VA loan. He pulled the hard inquiry and decreased our odds in finding a different lender on purpose, obviously we have a credit monitoring system in place that alerts us when hard inquiries are done. We haven't had one since XXXX of last year because we were getting ready to purchase a new home and sell ours. I am reporting him to the credit bureau, but this is a formal complaint and a violation of the law.
