I refinanced my home with Caliber home loans which was fully funded XX/XX/2019 paid off! They reported me late XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on a paid off loan!! I contacted them several times calling and mailed certified letters! Also with all three credit bureaus they reported back as accurate! How when the loan is paid off

I obtained a XXXX loan in XXXX, am in modification review with Caliber Home loans since XXXX XXXX. They set a foreclosure sale date of XXXX XXXX XXXX, even tho I am providing all docs requested on daily, weekly basis they have never com pleted a mod pkge. I can not get a reasonable explanation of exactly what is required to qualify for a mod. or the process.
Caliber bought my loan @ reduced price @ auction XXXX XXXX while I was awaiting Bankruptcy Ct approval of a mod I had been working on from XXXX XXXX since XXXX.This was not disclosed to me or the court. The ct approval was granted in XXXX XXXX for the mod to proceed however XXXX declared me delinquent from XXXX XXXX due to the sale to Caliber.They would not explain why they were dating my pmts to begin be fore the ct approval and because I could not cure the delinq uent pmts they convinced me to RESTART THE MOD PROC ESS which I finally agreed to do. I was in review with until wells advised me of the sale XXXX XXXX by letter advising me they no longer would service my loan, nor finish the modification as all my info was with Caliber. I now question why was I not advised of this 'short sale ' at auction OR offered any any such remedy to help me keep my home? Why did neither wells or caliber ever finish a modification package??
I worked with XXXX XXXX from XXXX. I furnished docs on a k daily, weekly basis, with over 100 agents. ( one of whom I was told to work with told me he had XXXX loans but mine was not one of them ) I thought I had a mod in XXXX XXXX, but the follow up paper work they told me to wait for never came, and I had to start the mod process over and a year of being in 'review ' later they set a foreclosure date ( I was in underwriting review ) forcing me into bankruptcy chptr XXXX to stop the sale. The " loan preservation specialist ' handling my loan denied it was ever assigned to her and she wanted me to start the process OVER AGAIN but not assure me it would stop foreclosure. I did continue the mod process after I filed for chpter XXXX in order to reduce my payments and repair my credit.
No one should lose their home while being told they are in " review ". The homeowner has no knowledge of what is required to 'qualify ' for a modification, or the actual process.
The modification package is never completed, docs expire and then the package is set to have something expire every day. It is extremely difficult to get info or answers to simple questions, you are just told to give them what they want and 'they will look at it and let you know '. They will not disclose how much income it will require to qualify or how you could improve your situation to qualify, they just wont answer you. They constantly lose doc uments and insist you did not provide them. They ask for docs that are within 2 days of becoming expired. They want invasive info on contributors ( even family ) as if they are qualifying for the entire loan.
Finally there is no reasonable excuse for taking more than 90 days to complete a loan package on an existing homeowner.
This process is a scam on an already distressed homeowner and is designed to fail, and their home is offered to a stranger at a foreclosure price, most often below the mortgage balance the homeowner is willing to repay with just some restructuring of the terms. It just is n't right.
I have put all my savings into this home, I maintain it, I can not replace it. I have dealt in good faith and I have been lied to, misled, misrepresented to by XXXX mortgage cos.
promising to help me, I have been subjected to tremendous stress, and financial ruin only to face the loss of my home to a totally NON ACCOUNTABLE corporation through THEIR under handed dealings for their gain.

We listed our house on the market XX/XX/XXXX. We received a offer with a pre-approval from XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX for this buyer. We then accepted and contracted with the buyer with original closing date set for XX/XX/XXXX. Buyer agreed to extend until XX/XX/XXXX due to us making arrangements for a offer on a house to purchase. Ms. XXXX apparently switched jobs and began working with Caliber Home Loans in XX/XX/XXXX. We were unaware of this change and that she was taking our buyers loan with her which started his loan process over. The week of closing we began to get information of the buyer going out of state for a death in the family and may not be back in time to close on that Friday. Due to the house we were purchasing we really needed to complete our closing on time. The next 48 hours were spent getting our buyer a power of attorney approved to sign on time due to the closing disclosure had not been signed until late Tuesday afternoon so we could not sign before Friday. Once we had POA approved Ms. XXXX then stated as of Thursday the buyers ssn was " flagged '' and they were working on getting his ssn cleared. We were told multiple times they were still moving forward to close on Friday resulting in us and our sellers of the new purchase to take time off work and schedule movers and load uhauls. We were scheduled to close at XXXX Friday needless to say we were not able to do that. We were told multiple times we would close by end of day. We did not close at all that Friday which resulting in both families scrambling costing both families alot of money. Going into the weekend we were assured we would close Monday. So again we all make arrangements for Monday. By mid-morning we were being told we had a clear to close and was waiting on the " packet ''. Shortly there after we were contacted that our buyer had been denied and the purchase was canceled. Due to errors, negligence, misinforming realtors involved, and honestly just flat out lying about the details behind this loan we spent and lost 1000 's as well did our seller of the new home who also was unable to close on their new house in another state. This was the beginning of almost a month of stress, financial burdens, and uncertainties of the sells of any of the properties tied into this situation. Ms. XXXX nor her partner XXXX XXXX took any ownership in the errors and offered zero help or apologies to assist in the situation. Thankfully we had another local bank get involved and took proper steps in getting our buyer approved and we were able to close XX/XX/XXXX. Again, we were unable to recoup any of the loss in wages, expenses spent moving the first 2 dates we were given to close. We just want others to be warned to be aware when using XXXX XXXX and or Caliber Home Loans.

15 USC 1681 section 602 states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604 A states a person shall not furnish an information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 USC 1668B A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

We asked for a forebearance due to pandemic. Caliber sent paperwork saying that the entire forbearance amount would be due at end of forbearance. If the amount of forbearance was not paid they would increase interest rate and/ or start foreclosure proceedings.
Caliber has had several civil law suits for illegal mortgage activity.
We have an immense issue with our current mortgage which I WILL submit when all paperwork and text are copied.
Caliber is very difficult to deal with and takes no responsibility for fraudulent activities.

Caliber Home Loans failed to make my escrow payment to my County taxes for my Home. I received a letter from XXXX XXXX County telling me my taxes were delinquent. I called my escrow department and they could not give me a answer on why my payment was not made. I went to the court house and made my XXXX tax payment plus the first XXXX months of XXXX because of the non payment of my taxes. I paid XXXX towards the last XXXX months of taxes. I faxed Caliber Home loans my receipt of payment and asked for a refund. That was over 65 days ago. When I call all they can tell me is they will be doing an escrow analysis, this has been going on for 65 days now and no analysis.Management refuses to call me back and caliber refuses to refund me my taxes. Please help me.

l been having problems with XXXX XXXX XXXX now Caliber for 5 or 6 years. Back in 2009 i los t my job got behind 3 payments. So they told me to apply for modication. While working on it i offer to pay up but they told me not to and still getting further behind. During this process i went through several agents and got the run around. So i had to filed bankruptcy to save my home which got me further in debt.I paid 3 and half years ( XXXX ) XXXX a month.So i had to get out cause i could n't afford it .Recently i been applying for modification and getting the run around. The one tlime i did get it they released me cause of no payments but i sent it and got the receipts to show. So i do n't know where my money is .Now i am trying to hold to my house while stiill getting the run around.
