Citation text line 29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: (a) Saw Mill A/Little Gangsaw- On or about April 18, 2024, a general laborer was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 364 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 99.3 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 473 minute sampling period on 04/18/24. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. On or about March 6, 2024, a baseline audiogram was not established for a Spiral Mill Plant Operator exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 199.7% or an equivalent time-weighted average of 94.99 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 448-minute sampling period on 03-06-2024 (b) Saw Mill A/Edger- On or about April 18, 2024, an edger operator was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 213 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 95.4 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 475 minute sampling period on 04/18/24. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. (c) Pallet Shed- On or about April 18, 2024, a pallet laborer was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 315 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 98.3 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 473 minute sampling period on 04/18/24. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. (d) Little Saw Mill- On or about April 18, 2024, a saw teller was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 407 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 100.1 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 475 minute sampling period on 04/18/24. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.
