This debt is relating to a balance owed to XXXX XXXX College in the ammount of XXXX. I contacted XXXX XXXX College on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX in reference to this account and they let me know that it had been placed With S & S RECOVERY , INC . I CONTACTED THEM THE VERY SAME day regarding the account they stated that they did not have any information regarding the account and I had not recieved any letters or communication from them regarding the balance. So here I am trying to get my official college transcript to enroll in school but im getting the run around about my account. Then I recieved a letter from S & S stating that I was previously notified that my account was placed for collections, which i had not been notified.

I have been receiving frequent phone calls to collect a debt from a college that I have not attended since XXXX. I answered initially to see what this was about and where these phone calls were coming from. I was told they were looking for XXXX XXXX to collect a debt of {$1300.00}. This is a debt I had no idea that I had acquired. I let this know this information and they continued to call me to collect this debt on my behalf. Yesterday, I called my college to order a transcript and there is a hold on my account due to this debt. This debt is not mine. I feel that this debt is attached to someone else and it has been accidentally been put on my account because XXXX XXXX is a very common name. This debt is not mine.
