1. I financed my home XX/XX/XXXX for Approx {$290000.00}.
2. I had a loan modification back in XXXX with XXXX. they only lowered my payments by approx. {$33.00} per month. my original payments were around {$2700.00} per month.
3. I am a XXXX employee who was furloughed back in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I applied for another modification. My payments were lowered to around {$1400.00} per month. I was told that my payments would be stretched out for 40 years, but I could pay it off earlier.
4. My mortgage was sold to Ditech. When I checked with them about a refinance, I was told I had a balloon payment of approx. {$90000.00}.
5. I went to my credit union ( XX/XX/XXXX ) instead to have my home refinanced. when I asked for the payoff, I was told I owe {$290000.00} still. When I I asked how do I owe more money after paying a mortgage on my home for almost 10 years. I did not get a sufficient answer.
6. when I go online to the Ditech website, it says that my principle balance is {$200000.00}. But they sent me something saying that I still owe a balloon payment of {$90000.00}.
7. I am not sure how I owe more money 10 years after I have been making payemtns on my home.
8. The Ditech representative ( a male ) was very rude and disrespectful.
9. I am trying to refinance and leave Ditech all together, but I am not sure why my payoff is more than what I purchased the house for after 10 years. It is my idea that I only should owe what the my statement principle balance states ( {$200000.00} ). Even the credit union representative who is helping, me to refinance says that something is not accurate.

I was foreclosed on during remodification process. I was led to believe that I was being processed in XXXX with documentation from the servicer with contact numbers that would not except my calls or relay me to an extension of the rep. whom was handling my case when trying to contact and follow up. Ultimately I was given a 3 day notice of eviction by the Sheriff ( XXXX XXXX XXXX @ XXXX ). I had filed for bankruptcy protection and the law firm went to court to have it lifted as I was awaiting a modification. I later was informed by NACA ( 3rd party entity ) helping with the modification that the home had been sold in XXXX XXXX. It was XXXX when I received the modification documentation. I was receiving billing statements monthly throughout this year.
The servicer did not : Quickly resolve complaints and share information.
Have and follow good customer service policies and procedures.
Contact you to help you when youre having trouble making your payments.
Work with you, if you are having trouble paying your mortgage, before starting or continuing foreclosure.
Allow you to seek review of the mortgage servicers decision about your loan workout request.

My complanit is Ditech Financial about my mortgage payments. In XX/XX/XXXX I file a chapter XXXX at that time my mortgage was current in XX/XX/XXXX. After that my mortgage payment were applied to the company for post payments. In the process I sent in multiple payments to stay ahead. My regular house note is {$440.00} sometimes my mortgage be {$440.00}. I asked why my mortgage change, they replied that I had to pay for multiple inspection. After that Ditech sold the mortgage to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted the new mortgage company which were XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX to check on payments, at that time XXXX XXXX said my mortgage was current. I were told they were waiting on Ditech to forward the payments over to them. Which XXXX said it was taking longer than expected. I call the mortgage company back to see had Ditech post the payments to the account. XXXX rep said the payments were applied. Ditech told XXXX that the last time a payment was make it was XX/XX/XXXX. At that time I knew that was incorrect, I call Ditech to see what happen to the XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments.I was informed by Ditech rep they see the payments but {$1000.00} went to legal fees and there were other advance payments made from my mortgage payments. I were never told about any advance payments until I check with Ditech about the missing payments. My mortgage is behind due to Ditech applied funds to their advance accounts without my knowledge. They charge my account late fees.

I paid mortgage for the month of XXXX and XXXX 2016 with XXXX separate checks of {$600.00}. I continued to receive statements claiming I was late. So I called and was told I left off XXXX per check. So I made payment and was told system will automatically know correct payments has been made and will apply payments accordingly. I was told will take 5 business days. After 3 weeks later they are still holding my mortgage payments in unapplied funds and charging me late fees. I have called several times to get this issue resolved to no avail. Please help

Our loan was sold to everhome. Fines for online or phone payments added to " fees '' instead of debit from Bank account. Snowballed amount. Payments would be sent a month early but somehow would n't post until after the grace period, late charge. Note went up. Sold to Greentree, had fines attached, note went up more. Now sold to ditech, note {$400.00} more than original fixed rate loan, had thousands of fees. Was told not to make payment for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to qualify for trial loan modification. Made the 3 trial payments, was told papers had to be in XXXX XXXX, on XXXX XXXX I received the package, with someone else 's modification paperwork. Called, spoke to XXXX people, no answers, emailed account manager, no answer, typed letter and enclosed with wrong paperwork requesting my paperwork. A month later, all I 've received is a visit because I 'm " in default '' and multiple calls where I ca n't get answers. Please help! It 's a va loan, the modification payment is our original payment, it 's doable. If we could just get the correct paperwork!

I am filing a complaint against Ditech Finamcial L.L.C. I had a home fire on XX/XX/XXXX that caused major damage to mobile home forcing me and my family to have to relocate.While waiting for insurance claims and adjustments to be completed. I managed to make a payment on XX/XX/XXXX but not living in home. Insurance agent determined that it was est. of {$25000.00} worth of repair. On XX/XX/XXXX i received a letter of default from ditech and i was also informed to send checks from insurance claim. and have home repaid. Then in return they would issue me a refund after home was repaired. Due to my situation I could not afford my monthly payments at mobile home and have it repaired.

I am with a mortgage company called greentree services. This company forces insurance on the buyer. If u do n't have house insurance, they will take it from your regular mortgage payment and then call you and tell you that you was short on your mortgage. They calls your job after hours forcing you to make payments and the 15 day grace period does n't even be over. The representative s are very rude and threatened foreclosure after being late a week. I have a fixed rate mortgage and they have went up on my house note at least XXXX bucks monthly. This company also forces escrow on the buyer even when you tell them you will rather pay your land taxes at the courthouse. If you send them a extra payment by just sending them a house payment earlier, they will apply it to the principal instead of the mortgage. So very tired of all this. XXXX rep even told me, if you ca n't afford the house, sell it but pay us when you do. I need help, fast.

Ditech, my mortgage provider went through a system upgrade in XXXX 2016 ( according to them ). I currently make biweekly payments on my mortgage, almost twice the amount of the standard payment. Due to technical issues, the system is no longer able to post biweekly payments. This is now resulting in showing over {$7000.00} of unapplied payments, but the mortgage now shows past due since XXXX XXXX, 2016. I did contact the provider by email and by phone several times. They have assured me the are reviewing the account. Beside a simple acknowledgement that they received my complaint and are reviewing this ( without any results as of XXXX/XXXX/16 ), they have never proactively reached out to me as to provide any status update. They are however reaching out with never ending collection calls and letter. If it was any other service, as a consumer, it would have swapped providers. However with a mortgage that is not such a simple task. It has been over 8 weeks with no results ( and I 'm sure I 'm not the only one ). I understand system issues, but it is inconceivable to me that not a single individual within the company can review my account and make the necessary corrections. I have no faith in the process, nor would I ever know if after the corrections the remaining balance would be correct ( depending on how payments are posted ).

We are currently paying a mortgage with a 11 % interest rate and the property is under water. We have repeatedly tried to seek a modification with Greentree but they are not sending us the required documents to submit or they are not responding at all to our requests for assistance. Complaint What Happened |
This is about Green Tree again. Everyday for the last 2 years they have called me and my husband stating that we are behind on our house payment and we let our insurance laps, which most of the times the house payment had already cleared my bank or was pending at the bank to clear, the insurance that they say has lapsed did not lapsed, I bought my own insurance from a local company in town, and the local company faxed the proof of insurance XXXX times to Green Tree, which Green Tree states that they never received, so it was then mailed to Green Tree and they still claim that they did not get anything. When our mortgage was XXXX sold to Green Tree in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX { that has been too many years ago } we were 1 month behind on our house payment and I gave Green Tree permission to take out XXXX payment out of our checking account, well needless to say they took XXXX house payments out and over drafted our account, and Green Tree would not refund the money or the over draft fees, so we learned the hard way on that. As of today Green Tree has called both of us XXXX times and the lady was wanting to know when we would be moved out so they could come and change the locks to there property. The phone calls from Green Tree every time they call are rude and threatening to take our house. I am to the point to just give up. I want something done to these crazy people. We are tired of them calling us and they never give up.

I was off on maternity leave and my husband was laid off also, I just went back to work and my husband is still not working so I went to my lenders and asked if they would modify my loan with them they told me that I could n't because my loan is n't really a mortgage loan it is called a XXXX loan and they do n't modify those. I asked if there were anything else that can be done they told me no. I was n't aware when I closed on my home it was n't a mortgage loan.
I 'm filing this complaint because I need assistant with saving my home and are open for any suggestions that you may have to assist me in doing so.
