XXXX XXXX XXXX has violated my HIPPA rights by sharing my medical records with Miramed Revenue Group.
I tried contacting XXXX XXXX XXXX whom stated this debt was no longer being administered by XXXX XXXX XXXX, it's being handled by a third-party. I have not given anyone permission to share my medical information, therefore XXXX XXXX XXXX has violated my HIPPA rights. Also XXXX XXXX XXXX and Miramed Revenue Group has applied this negative, false information to my credit reports.
15 U.S. CODE SS 1681a ( 3 ) Restriction on sharing of medical information.Except for information or any communication of information disclosed as provided in section 1681b ( g ) ( 3 ) of this title, the exclusions in paragraph ( 2 ) shall not apply with respect to information disclosed to any person related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, if the information is ( A ) medical information ; ( B ) an individualized list or description based on the payment transactions of the consumer for medical products or services ; or ( C ) an aggregate list of identified consumers based on payment transactions for medical products or services.

on XX/XX/2021, i sent a letter to MIRAMED REVENUE GROUP , LLC about an alleged debt of XXXX that I do not owe.i requested the validity of the debt on XX/XX/2021 and haven't received anything as of XX/XX/2021. MIRAMED REVENUE GROUP , LLC sent me a document in the mail claiming that i owe a debt. on XX/XX/2021, i sent them a letter requesting the validity of the alleged debt of {$180.00}. they have violated my rights as a consumer. Pursuant to the FDCPA specifically 15 USC 1692g, it states ; Within 5 days after the initial communication with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt, a debt collector SHALL unless the following information is contained in the initial communication or the consumer has paid the debt, send the consumer a written notice containing. ( 1 ) the amount of the debt ; ( 2 ) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed, ( 3 ) a statement that unless the consumer, within 30 days, after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed valid by the debt collector ; ( 4 ) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within 30 day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt and ( 5 ) a statement that, upon the consumer 's request within the 30 day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor, MIRAMED REVENUE GROUP , LLC has failed 3-5 and therefore, is in violation of the law. not only did they not include it in the initial communication, but they also failed to send it within 5 days.As you can see the date was XXXX and today is XXXXattached is the letter i sent to them about the alleged debt and i haven't heard from them as of yet.
