I purchased the home in XX/XX/XXXX and my son passed away in the home XX/XX/XXXX. He was only 7 months. I struggled with XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX when I succumbed to it. I went into a XXXX for 1 week then I went on a XXXX leave for 3 weeks after that. When I returned to my job, where I was making close to around {$3500.00} a month, I found that they had replaced me and placed me in a lower paying position where I was only getting paid half of that. I can not, financially or mentally, live in the property. My mortgage is being serviced by Penny Mac Loan Services and XXXX XXXX, my SPOC, told me that there is no opt out option for USDA loans and that I would qualify for a repayment plan? I 'm not sure how, being my income dropped. All I want to do is a deed in lieu. I told him this and he is now asking for documents that I have already sent him XX/XX/XXXX. So, it seems to me that they are very unorganized or just throw away my paperwork. I 'm very upset with the way they are handling this. Not to mention, the lack of sympathy. I do n't mind paying what I am delinquent for, but I will contact USDA myself about doing the deed in lieu, because Penny Mac seems to want to give me the run around instead of trying to help me.

I have a va loan through pennymac mortgage. For the past 6 months since the covid 19 benefits have started to be taken away, the forbearance plan that my house is in since XX/XX/XXXX, is set to end on XX/XX/XXXX of this year. I separated from the XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and I started working out of state in Texas. My home is located in XXXX Mississippi, unfortunately this out of state working has cost me more money and I have taken a significant pay cut since I left the XXXX.
When covid hit, I put my home in forbearance and haven't had the money to be able to make a payment for the entirety of the plan. For the past 6 months pennymac has been contacting me through an automated phone service. I applied for a mortgage assistance plan with the basis of it stating that I wanted to extend my mortgage out and bring my loan current so the payments could lower.
They recently told me, for the first and only time that I was called by a human, that my application for modification was denied. Because of insufficient cash flow. Which was the entire reason I submitted the application in the first place. I can not for the life of me get ahold of an actual person at pennymac or anyone on my point of contact team. The numbers they list on their website either don't work or never get to an actual person.
I'm sorry that this complaint is so long but this has been unbelievably frustrating not being able to get any kind of help from the company that promised to help me.

I contacted XXXX XXXX approximately a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ago, and spoke to an agent ( XXXX ) about the process by which i could let my soon-to-be ex-wife assume the Mortgage on our home upon completion of our divorce process. The agent assured me that since my wife was on the loan application with me, but not the loan itself, that XXXX XXXX would be happy to transfer the loan and all financial liability for the loan to my wife upon receipt of a divorce decree.
I called back approximately a XXXX later to confirm the details of my conversation with XXXX XXXX, and they informed me that my wife would not be able to assume the property without refinancing at a much higher rate. I asked why this would be, since the St. Germaine clause of 1982 would allow for such a transfer. XXXX XXXX informed me that this was due to restrictions placed upon the mortgage by the investor I authorized my wife to speak to XXXX XXXX regarding the loan, and they told her that it could not be transferred to her due to the fact that it was a USDA loan.
I spoke to the originating agent who worked for XXXX XXXX at the time, and now works for a large bank as the head of Overwriting. He said that he could not find anything in the paperwork that indicated that we would not be able to transfer the property in the event of a divorce.
