I purchased my home in XX/XX/XXXX. I refinanced my home in XX/XX/XXXX. At that time it was a streamline refinance. I had no closing cost. My home was sold to a lender which was round point mortgage in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I received an escrow letter stating I owed around {$1600.00} in escrow because of my county and city taxes. I understood this because the total taxes were not refinanced into the mortgage because, the taxes were based on an empty lot. I sent a full amount and the mortgage was adjusted to include the amount. Now I receiving an escrow letter stating they want {$1000.00} for cushion in escrow or they will raise my mortgage again to reflect a cushion amount. Everything is being paid. And the escrow account is left to a {$0.00} balance. I feel since everything is paid there is no need for a cushion amount of {$1000.00}. And if they needed a cushion amount this should have been explain on the front end of the refinance or the year the escrow was short for the taxes owed and they adjusted the mortgage. Now I am looking at another {$100.00} in mortgage adjustment I can not afford or a full payment of {$1000.00} of cushion I can not afford. This almost feel like an adjustable mortgage rate. My mortgage is going up {$100.00} every year. I can not afford this. And I should not be forced to do either if everything is being paid. Cushions of escrow along and adjusting monthly payments is not acceptable if there is no shortages at all. Or they can simple ask for the shortage amount to be paid. But how can you ask for a cushion two years later?

{$460.00} was an overage of my escrow account, the co borrower is no where to be found, I do have a quit claim deed to the property when she disappeared. They lender first told me they would send check in my name, that didn't happen. It was sent in both names. I called them and they stated they couldn't do that, but they wanted me to do an assumption on my loan to remove the other party. I am not able to do that as she can't be found. I would need her signature. If I can't find her to sign a check how can I find her to do an assumption ( of which they wanted closing costs, far more than the value of the check ). I asked a supervisor to apply the overage towards a payment, she stated she couldn't do that, and they would just keep the overage of the escrow account.

PLEASE READ THE BELOW EMAIL I SENT TO ROUNDPOINT MORTGAGE. THIS IS THE FIRST OF XXXX attempts I have made to contact them via email.
Greetings, Earlier this month I had my bank account compromised, which required me to update my Automated Draft information on your website XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
I confirmed the account information, draft date ( XXXX of every month ), application of the additional principal, and the website ACCEPTED the UPDATED changes.
On the XXXX of XX/XX/year> I noticed that my bank account had not been drafted.
I accessed the accounts payments information page and it confirmed that the Automated Payment had taken place, which it had not. *please see attached photo. XXXX I again checked my account on the XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and today on the XXXX of XX/XX/year>.
On the XXXX I noticed a late fee for the amount of {$87.00} and the payments log page *please see attached photo* as well as a reversal of statement applied to the page. Please note, the previous account doesnt exist for a reversal to take place.
I DID NOT receive ANY email or phone call regarding the status of payment, nor that there was a possible payment issue.
On the morning of the XXXX of XX/XX/year>, I contacted a representative by the name of XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX.
During that phone call I was able to make a one time payment and I noticed that my OLD account information was STILL the primary source for the automated withdrawal and NOT the NEW account information that I submitted weeks prior. Thus, my account was NOT correctly updated in Round Points payment processing system ( s ).
As I made my one time payment, I was required to again select the correct account for withdrawal, which allowed me to finally delete the old account information. This is not an easy system to use.
I am writing to formally request the removal of the late charge of {$87.00} applied to my account. This request is based on the understanding that Round Point Mortgage is responsible for maintaining an accurate and reliable website that reflects the true state of its customers accounts, including any changes or updates. In addition, any issues with payment should be disseminated to the customers before the application of any LATE fee. This would allow YOUR customers the ability to correct any issues and make payments before having to write an appeal regarding a late fee.
I believe the charge in question resulted from inaccuracies or issues related to the websites functionality and account management.
I have never missed a payment.
I kindly ask for your prompt attention to this matter and the removal of the charge.

In XX/XX/2022, we made a phone call to Roundpoint mortgage to find out how much we needed to pay so that we could drop our PMI. We were told an amount and paid extra at that time. When we called back to see why we had not noticed PMI drop off of our Bill, we were told that submitting to have PMI removed was not enough, but that now we had to have our property appraised. This was not in the agreement when we signed the contract to purchase the house. We submitted the form to have it removed, but every time we called, we got a different runaround, as if no one really knew what to do. At one point, we had a lul in calling because we were exhausted over the process. No one would return our calls and the whole process has just escalated.
Finally, this last week we received notice that PMI had been dropped.
After spending a long time on the phone with someone from Roundpoint today, I feel its only right to reach out to you because I feel we have been done wrong. I feel we should be reimbursed for the many months of paying PMI after we had done our part to drop it. The customer service has been less than and after my conversation today, I realize this whole process has been about money. We have never been late on one payment. We would appreciate any advice or help we could receive. Thank you so much.

Refinanced my house with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am having a difficult time receiving my overpaid escrow money from the previous mortgage company, Roundpoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation.
Timeline : XX/XX/19 Loan paid off by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Per Roundpoint Online records ) XX/XX/19 Escrow Disbursed to Mortgagor ( ( Per Roundpoint Online records ) XX/XX/19 Check mailed to me - Per conversation with Roundpoint Rep XX/XX/19 Have not received the {$1500.00} from my escrow account.
I have had this mortgage with Roundpoint for 4 years and have made every payment on time every month. I am concern that Roundpoint is attempting to retain my fund as long as humanly possible. I understand they have no incentive to pay my money expeditiously and as quoted by several of the representatives that, by law we at Round Point have 20 days to refund your escrow account. It is well pass those 20 days after the loan was paid off. I have called Roundpoint several times, but receive the same patent answers, the check is in the mail.
The minor interest Roundpoint is receiving from retaining my funds may be small, but I am concern that f this same activity could be happening to a large number or all of the Roundpoint customers. And finally should Roundpoint pay me interest beginning on the 21 day along with my Escrow refund?
