Several times my husband and I have asked this company add me to the account so things can be discussed with myself as they left me off original paperwork. Last year we had issues with the servicing company paying the wrong property taxes from our escrow account. ( XXXX ) After many emails, calls, and faxes later they finally paid them late. 2 weeks of fighting & proving the correct plat # due to their clerical error.
All the while we were being told our property could go up for auction. I only figured this out when applying for homestead exemption.
Then our payments went up as I'm sure they passed along the late payment to us due to their mistake.
This year they say they sent payment for homeowners insurance XX/XX/XXXX. ( It was due XX/XX/XXXX ) As of XX/XX/XXXX payment has not been received. Sit on hold for 30+ minutes to be told by reps we should call back tomorrow. You get no straight answers and nobody is accountable. As the rep told my husband last night " unfortunetely '' we have no choice in who services our loan.
These people don't care as it's not them who's being affected.
XXXX XXXX is used by Lake View. Find a company who's going to service loans correctly.

Our Mortgage company failed to pay our property taxes. We asked why our taxes weren't paid and were told it was due to our tax assessor 's office being " too small town ''. They stated that it was due to a check having to be manually mailed, so the mortgage company just didn't mail one. When we received final notice that our account was delinquent from the tax office, we contacted our mortgage company and they said it would be resolved. Today XX/XX/year>, I received word from a friend at the Tax office that our property and home would be listed for tax sale next Monday, due to non-payment. When contacting the mortgage company, they stated a check was mailed on XXXX. That check was never received, and was not issued for the correct amount, even though the statement from the tax office was uploaded to the mortgage company. According to the tax office, the check would have been returned anyway for not being the correct amount. Our mortgage escrow account has {$6400.00} in the account and today, XX/XX/year>, I had to pay out of pocket {$1700.00} to avoid tax sale. Since our loan is a VA loan, I can not handle the taxes on our own. Unfortunately, the same thing happened last year. This has been a very emotional and stressful time and my husband and I have missed a lot of time from work handling this over the past few months.

In late XXXX/early XXXX of this year ( 2023 ) my husband and I made a request to have PMI removed from our mortgage. It was followed with a denied request in the mail and we followed up with Lakeview XXXX to askabout our options for a BPO or appraisal. We have asked if we could have a third party complete either of these on our own since we have been yelled at and treated poorly by employees of the Lakeview XXXX and no longer trusted the company to hire a nonbiased party that would only offer fact over the company 's best interest. The company has stated that policy within Lakeview XXXX states that we must have either the BPO or appraisal completed through their company and paid to them for the third party service. We made a formal request for the written policy and date of initial policy being enforced. On XX/XX/2023 the representative started the formal request to have the written and enforcement dated policy sent through the mail to our listed address. We have yet to receive proof of said policy nor have we been treated as valued customers through the employees of the company.

I have a mortgage forbearance with XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX to notify them I wanted to end my forbearance and begin to pay my note. I spoke to them many times and was given different information every time I called. Finally, in XXXX I decided to start mailing payments. They returned my payment. I sent it again. I really felt like they wanted to drag this out as long as they could to increase my indebtedness to them. Then they sent me a promissory note of {$41000.00} which I believe is wrong. The forbearance should have ended XX/XX/XXXX, XXXXTheir behavior was so absurd that I began to think there was some kind of fraud going on here.
