Note to paragraph (b)(2)(v): As of January 1, 1998, subpart M of this part (1926.502(d)) provides that body belts are not acceptable as part of a personal fall arrest system. The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under 1926.502(e). (a) Pool Parapet - On or about August 3, 2016 four employees were exposed a fall hazard while riding in a Skyjack SJ66T Boom Lift serial no. 1013165 was elevated 16 feet 8 inches above the ground without fall protection. Also this aerial lifts occupancy capacity was exceeded. This aerial lift has maximum occupancy of 2 passengers. |

(a) Pool Parapet - On or about August 3, 2016 four employees were exposed a fall hazard while riding in a Skyjack SJ66T Boom Lift serial no. 1013165 due to an exceeded occupancy capacity. This aerial lift has a warning sticker on the front that reads Maximum of 2 Occupants or 500 lbs. All four of these employees were elevated 16 feet 8 inches above the ground without fall protection. The operators manual also states maximum capacity of 2 occupants. |
