Complaint What Happened I have been reported late on my mortgage when the lender has been unable to be reached by phone for payment. I have been charged fees without notice and been unable to have removed. I have had insurance placed on my loan even with adequate coverage in place. The company does not offer refinancing at better rates and forces mey to stay with them unless I fall behind and ruin my credit, then they will offer a better rate.

Complaint What Happened I am trying to refinance my mortgage through XXXX XXXX . My current mortgage is serviced by Seterus. On XXXX XXXX , 2017 I contacted Seterus to request a payoff qoute. I was told that it could take up to 7 days. I called seterus to follow up with the status of the payoff on XXXX XXXX , 2017 And was told that the request had been cancelled. They stated that my account was in a review process and they would not send the quote until the review was complete, up to 160 days. Also they will Not give me access to MY mortgage account information.

Complaint What Happened Tornado hit my property on XX/XX/2015 in XXXX XXXX, XXXX . XXXX XXXX insurance was there and took prompt care of everything including remitting the initial check. Mortgage Lien Holder ( Seterus Inc. ) was on the check for the claim. Checks were endorsed and sent to XXXX. XXXX has been drawer out for repairs. M House is finally repaired but Seterus claims the house is XXXX % complete due to lost barns not being rebuilt even though they had XXXX authorize no barns have to be rebuilt. The property has plenty of equity, 'followed the procedure documenting funds to be paid back to us ( homeowner ) months ago. Seterus is using other departments ( XXXX ), so called 3rd party companies ( XXXX XXXX ) to hold up payments so contractor can put a lien on property.

Complaint What Happened Now, Seterus is falsely claiming a debt and loan from XXXX. We have and will continually deny this fraudulent debt and loan made by Seterus. Our communication to Seterus was/is very simple ; do not contact us again because you all " Seterus '' is now claiming to have/servicing a Loan from XXXX plus ( XXXX and its affiliates ) are in violations of Federal Laws by continual harassments and threats. Therefore, you all Seterus plus ( XXXX and its affiliates ) need to stop making fraudulent claim about they have a lien on our property and owe a loan through XXXX because Seterus are trying to make a claim and a false foreclosure on my property which lead to defamation of our character. " Allegedly, Seterus plus XXXX, XXXX/ XXXX XXXX , XXXX etc. have committed fraud and continue to do so because they never had a lien on our house from the off-set or the inception of our mortgage ( See attachments ).
